The results of surgery are apparent immediately, but you'll have to wait up to two years to see your true transformation. To make the most of your results, we recommend that our patients throughout Toledo, Sandusky, and Findlay:
The recovery period for a body lift is about three to four weeks. Be sure to get plenty of rest during this time as you want to allow your incisions and body to heal. Most patients can return to a desk job after their recovery period or once cleared by their doctor.
You should wear a compression garment for at least six weeks after your surgery. A compression garment will help ease swelling and other uncomfortable side effects. It will also help your skin form to your new contours and enhance your results.
